Clayday Account Deletion

Effective date: June 30, 2026

Clayday lets you delete your account and associated account data from inside the Clayday app.

How to delete your account

1. Open Clayday.
2. Sign in with the Apple or Google account linked to your Clayday account.
3. Open Settings.
4. Select Delete Account.
5. Confirm the deletion request. You may be asked to sign in again.

If you cannot access the app, contact hello@clay.day from the email address linked to your Clayday account and ask for account deletion.

Data deleted

Deleting your Clayday account removes:

• your Clayday cloud account record
• your sign-in identity mapping
• your unlocked kit list stored by Clayday
• your saved kit progress stored by Clayday
• local cached account, ownership, and progress data on the device

Data kept

Some operational records may be kept when needed for fraud prevention, manufacturing reconciliation, purchase restore, security, legal compliance, or support. These may include unlock-code redemption records, failed-attempt rate-limit records until they expire, aggregate sales analytics, and store purchase records held by Apple, Google Play, or Clayday for purchase validation and restore.

App Store and Google Play purchases remain associated with the store account used to buy them and may be restorable according to the store's purchase systems.

Retention

Account ownership and progress data are removed when account deletion succeeds. Short-lived rate-limit records expire automatically. Operational redemption, purchase-validation, support, and aggregate records may be retained as long as reasonably needed for fraud prevention, reconciliation, support, legal compliance, and financial recordkeeping.
